Dillon Eustace advised Sunrise Media on the management buyout of its subsidiary Webprint Concepts, a Cork-based printing company which prints the Sunday Business Post.

Donagh O’Doherty, managing director and founder of Webprint led the deal on behalf of the management for an undisclosed sum.

Webprint was originally acquired by Sunrise Media's parent company Key Capital as part of a debt facility restructuring in 2015.

The divestment builds on Key Capital’s sale of the Sunday Business Post to Kilcullen Kapital Partners in 2018.

The Dillon Eustace team was led by Lorcan Tiernan, Partner and Head of Dillon Eustace Corporate and M&A team, with support from Owen Brayden, Corporate solicitor.

Commenting on the deal, Lorcan Tiernan, Partner and Head of Corporate M&A, said: “We are delighted to have helped Sunrise Media in this transaction. Having worked with Key Capital, its parent company since 2013, providing support on both the Webprint and Sunday Business Post acquisitions and sale, we are proud to provide continued support across its portfolio. We wish the Webprint management team every success.”
