Tara O’Callaghan is head of the Fund Registration and Listing Team.
Tara provides advice to a range of UCITS and AIF issuers on registration and local regulatory requirements across EU and global markets. She also advises on exchange and EU requirements for a range of onshore and offshore listed issuers. Her domestic and international clients include UCITS, AIFs, ETFs, offshore investment funds, investment managers, corporates, law firms, promoters and debt issuers.
Tara’s experience includes working at the Euronext Dublin and a leading Dublin client advisory firm. She helped Dillon Eustace become the first Irish law firm to set up an in-house listing department in 2001. Her team offers clients a full turnkey advisory service.
She has wide expertise of EU and local regulation and requirements relating to fund products, fund distribution, market abuse and listing. Tara has direct relationships with many exchanges, regulators and local international advisers. She is involved in policy development as the sole sponsor representative on the Rules and Regulatory committee of the ISE and is a member of Women in ETFs. She is a regular presenter at ETF industry events.
Tara’s representative actions include advising:
- UCITS and offshore investment funds listing on both the Main Securities Market and the Global Exchange Market of Euronext Dublin.
- ETFs passporting to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
- A number of European corporates on financing transactions involving the listing of debt on Euronext Dublin.
- A range of asset managers on the registration of their fund ranges across the EU, Switzerland, South America and the Far East.
- Directors, investment managers, service providers and listed corporates and funds on the implications on their business of market abuse regulations.
- Investment managers and Irish and international UCITs and AIFs on the potential implications of Brexit and the FCAs Temporary Permissions Regime on the marketing of their products in the UK.
