Philip Lea is a partner in the Corporate/M&A team. He specialises in advice on corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions and shareholder agreements.

Philip joined Dillon Eustace in 2018 having spent 7 years with another leading Irish law firm. He has over 15 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures, private equity, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and general commercial matters.

Philip has advised a wide range of domestic and international corporations, private equity funds and financial institutions, with significant operations in Ireland.

Philip's recent representative transactions include:

  • Advised the shareholders of Verve on its sale to the Opus Group.
  • Advised the shareholders of Tailored Finance on its sale to NFP.
  • Advised Orlen VC on its investment in Invert Robotics.
  • Advised MML capital on a number of transactions including investments in Virginia Transport and Cruinn Diagnostics.
  • Advised Travelwin Group on Cardinal Capital's investment.
  • Advised Briggs Equipment on its strategic acquisition of Laois Hire Services from HSS.
  • Acted for the shareholders of Acumen & Trust on its sale to the Irish Life Group.
