Philip advises in the Corporate M&A team specialising in corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions and shareholder agreements.

Philip joined Dillon Eustace in 2018 having spent 7 years with another leading Irish law firm. He has over 10 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures, private equity, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and general commercial matters.

Philip has advised a wide range of domestic and international corporations, private equity funds and financial institutions, with significant operations in Ireland.

Philip's recent representative transactions include:

  • A leading private equity fund on the €450m disposal of a portfolio of healthcare businesses.
  • A family owned food company on its sale to a listed European acquirer.
  • A management team on its co-investment with an industry acquirer of an asset management entity.
  • An Irish hospital on the sale of its fertility clinic to a listed acquirer.
  • A leading financial software group on the investment by a private equity fund in its holding company structure.
  • Various medtech and pharmaceutical entities on restructuring in and out of Ireland.
