Paul Gill specialises in Transport law – particularly Maritime and Admiralty law – and Media law.

Paul is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading practitioners of maritime law and logistics law, acting mainly for ship owners and insurance interests against commercial threats and class actions. He is a specialist in the law relating to arrests and wrongful arrests. He is also an expert on riparian rights.

Paul is the President of the Irish Maritime Law Association. He is also a member of the Nautical Institute, and the Average Adjusters Association. He is a Titulary Member of the CMI (Comité Maritime International), and Chair of the Fair Treatment of Seafarers International Working Group.
