Mairéad is a Solicitor in the Asset Management and Investment Funds team.

Mairéad advises clients that utilise both UCITS and AIF structures. Mairéad trained in Dillon Eustace and qualified as a solicitor in 2020.

Mairéad has worked on the structuring, establishment, corporate governance and ongoing operation of Irish UCITS and AIFs, including the provision of advice to fund management companies operating in Ireland or servicing Irish funds. Her portfolio of work also includes working with clients with an ESG focus.

Mairéad has completed a secondment with a large international fund manager. During her secondment, she worked with senior management, stakeholders and delegated service providers on aspects of day-to-day fund operations, in relation to funds in various jurisdictions including Ireland, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands.

Advising on the establishment, authorisation, on-going operation and regulatory requirements of UCITS and AIFs.

Establishment and authorisation of new sub-funds, both UCITS and QIAIFs including ESG sub-funds, provision of advices on required disclosures and the regulatory framework together with post authorisation amendments to existing sub-funds.

Clearance of EU and non-EU investment managers to act as discretionary investment managers to Irish domiciled funds.

Change of fund service providers to Irish funds.
