Joseph is a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A team. He joined Dillon Eustace in 2018 having qualified in another leading Irish law firm in 2015. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, company law and corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures, corporate restructuring and private equity / venture capital investments.

Joseph has represented public and private corporations, private equity houses, venture capital investors, businesses owners and entrepreneurs transacting in many industries and sectors, including financial services, technology, life sciences, healthcare and media and entertainment.

Joseph completed a secondment with the Irish headquarters of a major multinational pharmaceutical company where he joined the legal team. He directly assisted the head of legal and was involved in supporting a major corporate re-organisation as well as day to day legal matters regarding compliance with industry-specific regulations and codes of practice.

Joseph’s representative transactions include advising:

  • An ad hoc group of secured lenders in relation to the restructuring of Nordic Aviation Capital.
  • Blantyre Capital on the corporate law aspects of its long-term partnership with Piraeus Bank for the management of equity participations owned by the Bank.
  • Briggs Equipment on its acquisition of Laois Hire.
  • DMG Media on a number of media acquisitions.
  • Merrion Group on the sale of the group to Cantor Fitzgerald.
  • Brookfield Asset Management on its acquisition of a stake in LCH Group.
  • Dundalk Football Club on its sale to the US-based consortium Peak6.
  • The European Investment Fund in the deployment of the European Angel Fund through various Irish business angels.
