Brendan Cunnane specialises in Real Estate.
Brendan joined Dillon Eustace in 2018 and has 17 years experience and expertise in property, finance and distressed loan transactions (often involving construction law elements), having acted for both borrowers and lenders. He previously worked for ACC Bank and NAMA advising on new loans and work-out of distressed loans.
Prior to ACC Bank, Brendan worked in a top Irish law firm advising financial, corporate and institutional clients on site acquisitions, developments and disposals, including advising lenders on funding the construction of a number of hotels and nursing homes around Ireland.
Representative transactions include advising:
- Acting for the purchaser of a number of office blocks in East Point Business Park, Dublin.
- The main legal adviser on NAMA’s Project Jewel loan portfolio relating to Dundrum Town Centre and part of the Pavilions and Ilac shopping centres which was sold by NAMA for a reported €1.85 billion.
- Advising an Irish bank on the refinancing of a Dublin city-centre office building.
