Adrian is a partner and Head of the Corporate and M&A team. He has extensive experience in, mergers and acquisitions, company law and corporate governance, company re-organisations, venture capital, cross-border mergers and private equity investments.

Adrian has represented public and private corporations, private equity houses, venture capital investors, family owned businesses and entrepreneurs transacting in a variety of industries and sectors, including the financial services, technology, food and beverage, media and entertainment and life sciences sectors. His practice also includes Irish inward investment projects and other cross border transactions.

Adrian’s representative transactions include advising:

  • Blantyre Capital Limited, a London-based investment management firm, on the corporate law aspects of its long-term partnership with Piraeus Financial Holding’s subsidiary, Piraeus Bank, for the management of equity participations owned by the Bank.
  • DMG Media on its acquisition of OneFabDay
  • Banca Mediolanum on both domestic and cross border mergers of some of its group companies
  • Merrion Group Holdings on the sale of the group to Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland
  • Dundalk Football Club on its sale to the US based consortium Peak6
  • Brookfield Asset Management on its acquisition of a stake in LCH Group
  • Open Text Corporation on the Irish law aspects of its acquisition of Dell EMC's Enterprise Control Division for USD 1.62bn.
  • Verisk Analytics, Inc., a US data analytics and risk assessment firm, on its acquisition of Risk Intelligence Ireland, a leading provider of fraud detection, compliance, risk control, and process automation services to the Irish insurance industry.
  • Global Payments Inc. on its €115m acquisition of Realex Payments.
  • BDO on the sale of its private wealth management advisory business to Goodbody Stockbrokers.
  • Dilosk on its c.€223m acquisition of the ICS brand, mortgage distribution platform and a pool of performing mortgages from Bank of Ireland.
  • Perrigo Company on its USD 8.6 bn acquisition of Elan Corporation plc.
  • The purchasers of the Sunday Business Post on its acquisition from the company’s examiner.
  • Online games company Gala Networks Europe, a leading publisher of free-to-play multiplayer online games within Europe, and its parent on its sale to Webzen Inc.
