Monterey Insight ranks Dillon Eustace as Ireland’s leading funds adviser
Dillon Eustace is again recognised as no.1 adviser for Irish domiciled funds in 2018 by Monterey Insights Ireland Fund Report 2018.
Dillon Eustace, one of Ireland’s leading law firms, has been named as the top legal adviser to Irish domiciled funds in 2018, continuing its unbroken record since the Ireland Fund Reports began.
The firm’s Asset Management and Funds practice advised 1,113 Irish domiciled funds over the last year, as revealed in the 24th edition of the Monterey Insight Ireland Fund Report, retaining its position as the legal adviser of choice for the Irish Funds industry.
Dillon Eustace’s success mirrors strong performance across the sector with the Funds Industry reaching an all-time high this year.
The firm works across all product types from traditional UCITS, ETFs, money market funds and alternative UCITS, to the full spectrum of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) such as hedge, funds of funds, real estate, infrastructure, loan and private equity funds.

Fund assets serviced in Ireland rose by 11.7% reaching US$3,677.7bn at the end of June 2018, up from US$3,293.3bn in 2017. The total number of sub-funds reached 8,982 (an increase from the 8,492 of the previous year). Looking at Irish domiciled funds only, the number of funds and sub-funds has grown by 6.2% to 5,229 (from 4,922 in 2017) reaching a market size of US$2,838.9bn, an increase of 13.7% of total fund assets.
