In the latest edition of Finance Dublin, Muireann Reedy, reviews the Irish government's recently overhauled anti-corruption laws with the enactment of the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018. For the first time, corporates can be prosecuted if someone acting on their behalf commits an offence under the Act. Muireann Reedy looks at some of the Act’s key provisions and what companies can do to try to mitigate that risk.
