Dillon Eustace advises Future Analytics Consulting on its sale to KPMG

9th October 2020 - Dillon Eustace, the leading Irish law firm, recently advised Future Analytics Consulting, a leading urban planning, economics, and applied research consultancy on its sale to KPMG Ireland.

Founded in 2010, Future Analytics provides services to the state, semi-state, private sector and European Commission in the areas of planning and economic consultancy. Over the past decade, it has consulted on projects such as the Dublin City Council Housing Strategy 2016 -2022, the Greater Dublin Drainage Project for Irish Water and A New Vision for Temple Bar for Temple Bar Cultural Trust.

Collaborations to date with KPMG include the Economic Analysis of Productivity in the Construction Sector report, commissioned by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER), as well as its current work on a retail strategy for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

Under the terms of the deal, Future Analytics’ team of 27 will be fully integrated within the accounting giant, with its founders Prof. William Hynes and Stephen Purcell leading a new KPMG Future Analytics unit.

The Future Analytics team was advised by Philip Lea, Partner in Dillon Eustace’s Corporate and M&A practice with support from Lorcan Tiernan, Partner and Head of Corporate and M&A, employment advice from John Doyle, Partner and Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and tax advice from David Lawless, Head of Tax.
