Dillon Eustace advises Euroflex Teoranta
Dillon Eustace, recently advised County Donegal-based Euroflex Teoranta on their sale to global packaging company ProAmpac. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cincinnati-based ProAmpac is owned by Pritzker Private Capital along with management and other co-investors. Euroflex Teoranta, a family-owned business, is a leading supplier of protein packaging products to meat, cheese and dairy industries in Ireland, one of Europe’s largest producers.
Following the sale, Euroflex Teoranta will adopt the ProAmpac brand and will maintain operations at its manufacturing facilities in County Donegal, Ireland. The family leadership, represented by Karen Richardson and Derek Richardson, will continue with ProAmpac post-transaction.
This transaction represents a new step in ProAmpac’s ambition to continue growing its high-quality product offering, innovative R&D-focused team and its European platform. With the addition of Euroflex Teo, ProAmpac will now counts 44 sites globally, with nearly 5,800 employees supplying over 5,000 customers in 90 countries.
The Dillon Eustace multi-disciplinary legal team was led by Lorcan Tiernan, with support from Catherine Hicks, Joseph Lynch and Nick Houldsworth of the Corporate and M&A team, as well as property advice by Brendan Cunnane and tax advice by David Lawless.
