Dillon Eustace acted as advisers to Centric Health, a leading provider of primary care in Ireland, in a €50 million long-term funding deal.

The Group that owns primary care centres and GP practices across Ireland, secured funding from a consortium of banks arranged by Ulster Bank and Bain Capital.

The funding follows Rothschild’s investment in the group earlier this year, effectively refinancing the January transaction and providing cash for acquisitions and for Centric to develop new services to roll out in its network of primary care centres.

Founded in 2003, Centric group has expanded its services to a number of key areas, including GP care, medical recruitment, Global Diagnostics (for general x-ray and MRI imaging), and Global Vision (a Digital Photography and Grading Services Provider for the HSE National Diabetic Retinal Screening Programme in Ireland).

Dillon Eustace’s advisory team was led by Conor Keaveny, Banking Partner with support from Lorcan Tiernan, Head of the Dillon Eustace Corporate and M&A Team and Catherine Hicks, Senior Associate.

Conor Keaveny commented: “Dillon Eustace excels in complex deals requiring a multidisciplinary approach. We were delighted to assist Centric Health to secure this long-term facility and look forward to their further expansion in the primary care market.”
