Cayman Islands update The Foundation Companies Law 2017 now in force
The Foundation Companies Law, 2017 (“FC Law”) – came into force with effect from the18th of October, 2017.
The FC Law published in April 2017 and now in force introduces a non-profit company structure to the Cayman Islands that will likely become a flexible alternative to using a trust structure in a range of transactions - philanthropic, private and commercial.
