Our advice covers syndicated transactions, large scale bilateral loans, mezzanine finance loans, workouts, securitisations, the formation of real estate investment funds, non-performing loan acquisitions and other real estate acquisitions.

We devise comprehensive solutions tailored to specific client needs and regularly work with specialists in our Real Estate, Corporate, Capital Markets, Tax, Restructuring and Insolvency, Funds and Litigation and Dispute Resolution teams.
Representative transactional experience includes acting for:
- Allied Irish Banks plc on the provision of loans to various entities for property finance acquisitions, including commercial office blocks, residential blocks, development land and investment opportunities.
- A global investment bank on it's refinancing of the landmark Treasury Building in central Dublin.
- A European bank on its financing of the acquisition of the "The Park Collection", a portfolio of four office blocks in a significant Dublin retail and commercial centre.
- A non-bank lender in its provision of credit facilities totalling over €31m to an Irish-based borrower group to finance the acquisition and refinancing of 66 commercial and industrial properties in Ireland.
- Loan servicers and receivers on the disposal of distressed assets from loan portfolios managed by asset managers, and on the financing of disposals.
- A client on its intra-group restructuring where the credit facilities were provided by Citi Bank NA London Branch. The transaction involved the acquisition of numerous assets in the UK.
- A highly successful international real estate investor and operator in connection with facilities from Ulster Bank Ireland to fund commercial property acquisitions in Ireland.
- A leading global investment bank on its financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of Irish shopping centres and retail assets by a large US hedge fund.
- An Austrian bank on the provision of credit facilities to two Irish SPVs for the purposes of refinancing the acquisition of several European property portfolios acquired from a large UK bank.
