Our Financial Services team provides specialist advice on all aspects of derivatives to domestic and international banks, reinsurers, broker/dealers, funds and asset managers. We advise on the documentation and structuring of derivatives products, synthetic transactions, netting and set-off opinions. We support clients with staff training, improving existing documentation templates and content, and advise on all the industry standard master agreements.
We offer expertise in currency, credit, equity, fund and commodity derivatives, structured derivative products, collateral arrangements, netting and set off arrangements and opinions. We advise a wide range of regulated companies on their use of and tax issues relating to derivatives.
Our experience includes advising:
- On establishing OTC derivative relationships for Irish and Cayman investment funds with a number of dealers.
- On developing structured derivative solutions for clients, including providing staff training and developing template documentation.
- European bancassurers on implementing derivative relationships for their Irish operations and drafting template documentation covering relationships with Irish-regulated counterparties.
