Our wide-ranging experience and expertise includes advising on: the provision of credit facilities; secured lending transactions; fund margin lending; equity line facilities; mezzanine finance; debt asset value facilities; private placements; and capital markets funding.

Representative transactional experience includes acting for and advising:

  • On a USD 625m facility provided by an international syndicate of lenders to a global funds group.
  • An ICAV borrower in the provision of facilities to it by Ulster Bank to fund the acquisition of an apartment block having a value of approximately €72m.
  • A specialised commercial property fund on credit facilities provided to it by Ulster Bank in connection with the acquisition of a portfolio of commercial property in Ireland in excess of €80m.
  • Numerous funds on the amendment and restatement of their facilities to comply with their funding banks’ regulatory capital requirements.
  • Various platform ICAVs in the context of the financing of sub-funds of the ICAV.
