Due to the increasing demands on our IT function we are looking to recruit an additional person to support the IT team. Working within a small team of Technical Support Analysts, the successful candidate will provide and manage technical support of PCs, mobile devices and the Firm's general IT equipment applications and services.

This is a fast paces dynamic role within a challenging and demanding work environments, which requires the successful candidate to be proactive, with strong attention to detail. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to assist users to engage better with existing and new technology where the users are typically operating under pressure.


Client Focus

  • provide a high degree of initiative and a willingness to accept ownership of users and issues and requests
  • ensure that issues are dealt with promptly and remediated appropriately - the client's interest must be kept to the forefront at all times

Technical Focus

  • regularly monitor the Service Desk to ensure calls are resolved in a timely manner
  • work closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure a high quality user experience is maintained to clients
  • take ownership, resolve and escalate calls as necessary
  • adapt to the ever changing face or technology

Hardware Positioning

  • responsible for the hardware assets, new staff, movers, meeting room setups to include video conferencing


  • staff may be requested to carryout other additional skills as required


  • 3rd level qualification in IT; MOS Certification desirable; Microsoft OS or Server accreditation
  • experience in the maintenance of user accounts on various systems, including AD and Exchange; experience with iManage in a professional services environment would be an advantage
  • extensive working knowledge of MS Windows OS hardware and software configuration
  • experience of hardware positioning
  • excellent verbal communications and well developed written communication skills with the ability to produce detailed and user friendly communications to a varied audience

  • a high level of motivation and an ability to act on one's own initiative
  • excellent organizational, panning and prioritisation
