Dillon Eustace LLP has a well-established and highly regarded employment law practice which provides contentious and non-contentious employment advices to our client base which includes some of the leading banks, financial institutions, insurers, professional services firms, product manufacturers, airlines and public companies.

To provide additional support to our employment practice, we are looking for an experienced solicitor to assist with the provision of timely, practical and tactical advice to clients on all aspects of the employment relationship to include drafting contracts, employee policies and handbooks, advising in relation to contentious issues and disputes in the Workplace Relations Commission and the Courts in addition to advising on employment aspects of commercial transactions such as potential mergers and acquisitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work with clients and colleagues of the highest calibre on a diverse range of interesting and challenging employment matters.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Work on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
  • Prepare advices for clients
  • Prepare draft pleadings
  • Liaise with counsel, expert witnesses and any relevant third parties
  • Attend court as required
  • Electronic discovery review
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives.


The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following :

  • Minimum of five years experience in a corporate firm practising all aspects of employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide sound and realistic advice
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise
  • A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative and to efficiently manage their own files
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
