PROFILE: Conor joined Dillon Eustace in 2006 and became a partner in 2007. He has acted on a wide range of banking transactions for both financial institutions and corporates, both domestic and foreign. Deal types have included secured and unsecured lending and borrowing, tax based financings, asset financing (including aircraft financing) and leasing. Conor has extensive experience of reviewing and advising on non-performing loans. He has provided advice on banking regulatory issues to a variety of entities as well as advising state and private sector participants in public private partnerships. Conor has completed secondments to two leading banks and an internationally renowned aircraft leasing company. He has lectured on commercial lending issues at the Law Society of Ireland.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS:

Advised a leading international bank in a variety transactions including, the provision of various secured credit facilities with an aggregate principal amount in excess of US$1.26 billion.
Acted for a leading European bank on multiple secured loans to Irish entities.
Acted for a US technology group in relation to a syndicated credit facility with a principal amount in excess of US$1.2 billion.
Acted in relation to the acquisition of the “Project Kildare” portfolio of Irish real estate-backed loans (nominal value of €675 million approximately) from EBS/AIB.
Acted in relation to the loan due diligence carried out for Ireland’s National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) in connection with each tranche of loans acquired since NAMA’s inception.
Advised a number of Irish financial institutions in relation to loan and security reviews and enforcement strategy.
Advised an aircraft leasing company in connection with the acquisition and financing of a number of wide and narrow body commercial aircraft.
